Phase 2 Starts Monday June 22!

Monday June 22nd, BETA Academy will re-open and hold classes inside the facility.  We’ve implemented strict social distancing guidelines and sanitation protocols in an effort to maintain the safety of our community. Here’s what you can expect to see at BETA Academy during Phase 2.

Class Safety Protocols

To ensure social distancing guidelines are being met, we’ve implemented the following class safety protocols:

  • Mandatory Face Masks inside the Academy
  • Individual Mat Stations will be demarcated 10 feet apart from one another.
  • Classes will be 1 hour long to allow for a 30-minute sanitation process between classes.
  • Max capacity per class is 14 people so please register online to guarantee your spot.
  • Training will be geared toward solo practice focused on Techincal Development and Physical Conditioning.
  • There is an option for Permanent Paired Practice Partners (PPPP) in Phase 3.  See below for more details about PPPP.

Academy Safety Protocols

To maintain the safety of our community please review and observe the Phase 2: Pilot Re-Opening Protocols. Watch our 2-minute Phase 2 Re-Opening Video here.

Permanent Paired Practice Partners (PPPP)

We’re looking forward to adding pad work, drilling, and sparring back into our training as we move forward through future reopening phases.  Soon we will have an option to create a training environment with Permanent Paired Practice Partners.  There will be a strict screening process, rules and etiquette for all participating students to follow.  If you are interested, fill-out the form here.

If you don’t have a partner in mind, we will use this time to find and recommend a match based on schedule, skill level and size to be approved prior to pairing.

We look forward to training with everyone and ask that we all practice patience as we move through our planned phased re-opening process.  Please keep your fellow martial artist and their families safe by adhering to the guidelines.  Be well!

Sincerely,

Nakapan Phungephorn
